This document supplements the Terms of Service of Gregforge Labs LLC ("Gregforge") and explains how paid features, subscriptions, and refunds work in the Jyotish Vani app (the "App"). Free features described in these terms may not yet be offered; availability depends on your region and the platform.
1. How Purchases Work
Any paid feature, consumable, or subscription in the App is sold and billed through the platform you installed the App on — Google Play Billing on Android and, where supported, Apple In-App Purchase on iOS. The platform collects payment from your account on file and remits the relevant amount to Gregforge. Your payment relationship is between you and the platform; we do not store your credit-card number.
2. Subscription Basics
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly, yearly, or as otherwise stated at the point of purchase) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Where required by law or store policy, you will be notified in advance and given the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.
- Trials. Where a free trial is offered, the subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. You can use a trial only once per account.
- Downgrades and upgrades. Changing tiers takes effect either immediately (with proration where supported) or at the next renewal, depending on the platform.
3. How to Cancel
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
- Android (Google Play). Open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → select Jyotish Vani → Cancel subscription. Or visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- iOS (Apple). Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → select Jyotish Vani → Cancel Subscription.
Uninstalling the App alone does not cancel your subscription.
The App settings page should also provide a direct subscription-management entry when paid subscriptions are active.
4. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by the platform where you purchased, because the platform handles the money. We ask you to pursue refunds through the platform first; we will cooperate with refund decisions made by the platform.
- Google Play. Most purchases are eligible for an automatic refund if requested within 48 hours of the initial charge. After 48 hours, refunds are evaluated case-by-case under Google Play's policies. See Google Play refund policy.
- Apple. Refund requests are processed by Apple under its Media Services Terms, typically at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- EU/UK consumers. Statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal under applicable consumer-protection law, are not limited by this document.
For purchases made directly through us (outside the stores), refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis; contact support@gregforgelabs.com. In no case are refunds available for partial billing periods already consumed.
5. What You Get With a Paid Tier
The specific benefits of each paid tier are described within the App at the time of purchase (for example, increased message limits, access to higher-capability models, or premium interpretation modules). We may change the composition of paid tiers over time; where a material benefit is removed, active subscribers will be given the choice to downgrade to a free tier or receive a prorated refund.
6. Taxes
All prices shown in the App may be exclusive or inclusive of taxes, depending on your region and platform rules. Any applicable VAT, GST, sales tax, or other taxes are collected and remitted by the platform (Google Play or Apple) per its rules.
7. Family Sharing
Where supported by the platform, subscription benefits may be shared with approved family-group members, subject to the platform's family-sharing rules and any limits stated at the point of purchase.
8. Non-Transferability
Paid features are tied to the account that purchased them and are not transferable. Accounts that violate the Terms of Service may be suspended; in such cases refunds are not guaranteed and are subject to platform policy.
